Great plugin – I also would love to see two of the things already mentioned. Event name + Start/End time. I’m using the plugin to show my upcoming speaking events — and not being able to show the presentation topic is somewhat limiting (obviously I can show it on the event post for now). Adding those two features in the next release would fulfill all my needs!

Hi : I love the plugin… but Dreamhost just removed my users from 4 sites as it uses SO many db resources; if you can fix this it would be wonderful, particularly as I host all artist sites and have many many gigs to (ugh) reenter if not… please help! I’d be happy to send you copies of the query report they sent me. Thanks.

@ Rick – not a bad idea. I don’t think this will make it into version 1.4, as it’s pretty much done, and waiting on some translations. But perhaps in a subsequent version bump.

Great Plugin! But one thing I would like to do is be able to list both a beginning time and an end time. So, it would be something like Time: 10:00pm – 12:00pm. Is there and easy way to modify the code to do this? Thanks…

I translate my GigPress to Bulgarian by editing the gigpress.php file, but I’m afraid that in the next update the changes will be lost, so I hope that there will be and possibility for Bulgarian language in it. I can send you the .mo and .po files that I translate.

I’m form Bulgaria. I create a translation of language pack for Bulgarian, but I don’t know how to use it. I read above, that GigPress recognizes the language from your Wordpres. Mine is in Bulgarian, but GigPress is still in English. Any suggestions?

@karen – both of these things currently require you to alter the plug-in source code. Drop me an email – derek at gigpress.com – if you need some guidance there. Keeping in mind of course than any changes made to the plugin source will get erased when you update the plugin to a newer version.

i’m currently running the plugin for multiple bands using the tours to differentiate between the bands.

Two things I’m trying to do which I can’t seem to get to work are:
1/ on the sidebar widget, show the shows sorted by date but with ‘tour’ name… this is essentially NOT segmenting by tour (so it goes ASC by date) but then the artist name (which I’m using in ‘tour’) doesn’t show.

2/ Is there a way to show a specific tour on a page. With the above set up, I have artist pages set up but can’t seem to figure out how to put that artist’s tour on their page.
